[Remote] Executive Recruiter (Contractor)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDC is seeking an experienced Contract Executive Recruiter to support talent acquisition at the leadership level. This role involves managing full-cycle executive searches for director-level and above positions and partnering with senior stakeholders to define role requirements and search strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle executive searches for director-level and above positions across IDC's global teams
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and search strategy
- Source passive candidates through direct outreach, networking, LinkedIn Recruiter, and industry channels
- Conduct in-depth candidate screenings and present qualified talent with clear, concise assessments
- Manage candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance
- Provide market intelligence and compensation benchmarking to inform hiring decisions
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and provide regular search updates to stakeholders
Skills
- 8+ years of executive recruiting experience, ideally with a mix of retained search firm and in-house experience
- Proven track record placing director, VP, and C-suite candidates
- Strong sourcing skills and deep familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple searches simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional executive presence
- Experience recruiting within research, technology, media, or professional services industries strongly preferred
