[Remote] Cyber Security Administrator (Remote From Anywhere In Colorado)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Governor's Office of Information Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Administrator to enhance the security of public systems in Colorado. The role involves developing security tools, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, and addressing vulnerabilities within IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop different types of security tools
• Ensure IT environment domains are secure
• Address any issues, events, incidents, vulnerabilities, or weaknesses
• Implement and follow cybersecurity policies, standard pools, and best practices
• With audit findings, assist with the remediation of compliance issues and vulnerabilities that have been found via analysis

Skills

• A minimum of three (3) years of increasingly challenging work experience in the information technology field
• Demonstrated system admin experience
• At least one professional certification to include: A+, Network+, Security+, etc. or the ability to acquire within 6 months of hire
