[Remote] Senior Solution Architect, Healthcare

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leading cloud platform that is looking for a highly motivated Senior Solution Architect specializing in Healthcare. The role involves helping not-for-profit healthcare providers and academic medical centers implement innovative cloud solutions, providing technical design and leadership, and engaging with customers to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Helping our customers to design and create cloud computing architectures
• Providing exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers while working with a world class sales and business development team
• Leading efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community

Skills

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience
• Experience with one or more of the following: EHR Systems; FHIR/HL7; PACS; HIPAA/Hitrust
• Ability to travel 30%
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
• Experience working with Electronic Health Records, Medical Imaging, or Data Migration
