[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide technical support for their global network infrastructure, ensuring secure and scalable network services while leading major network initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, and optimize global LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD WAN, and hybrid cloud connectivity across all locations
• Execute network architecture standards, ensuring secure and resilient connectivity for new site deployments, lab expansions, and integrations
• Support cloud networking, ensuring reliable and optimized connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments
• Implement and maintain firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and Zero Trust/NAC capabilities across corporate, lab, manufacturing, and regulated systems
• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex network incidents, leading root cause analysis and strengthening monitoring and alerting capabilities
• Ensure high availability and performance through proactive capacity planning and redundant design across global sites
• Maintain accurate network documentation, runbooks, and change management standards to ensure consistent, controlled operations

Skills

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience supporting global, multi-site environments
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, SD WAN, firewalls, enterprise Wi-Fi, and core protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS)
• Experience supporting regulated or manufacturing environments and working with managed service providers
• Familiarity with Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity
• Strong troubleshooting ability and disciplined documentation practices
• CCNP certification (strongly preferred); CCIE a plus
• AWS networking certifications, preferred
• Experience in biotech, pharma, healthcare, or similar regulated industries, preferred
