[Remote] External Sales Contractor

Trucordia is a rapidly growing insurance brokerage dedicated to providing exceptional experiences and opportunities for its clients and employees. The External Sales Contractor will generate new business and manage client renewals while focusing on ACA and Medicare segments through proactive outreach and full-cycle sales execution.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a current Florida 215 Health License and active Florida Blue appointment
  • Complete all mandatory training, certifications, and carrier onboarding
  • Sell Florida Blue products through compliant sales processes: face-to-face, phone, and electronic
  • Guide prospects through the entire sales process from lead to close
  • Manage book of business through renewals, service, and retention efforts
  • Address and resolve policy delinquencies and member account issues
  • Engage in age-in, age-out, and life event transitions with professionalism and accuracy
  • Analyze member needs and conduct product comparisons using carrier-approved tools
  • Present plan options clearly, explaining benefits and value-added services
  • Educate clients on Florida Blue’s self-service platforms and enrollment resources
  • Cross-sell eligible products (e.g., dental, vision, income protection) to maximize client value
  • Adhere to Florida Blue and CMS marketing and compliance standards
  • Demonstrate high ethical standards in sales practices and member interactions
  • Follow up on leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Remain up-to-date with industry and product changes
  • Be responsive to administrative and support team requests
  • Represent Apple Insurance and Florida Blue in a professional manner at community or marketing events when applicable

Skills

  • Holds a Florida 215 Health License
  • Previous Health Insurance Sales Experience
