[Remote] Senior Data Engineer / ETL Developer (Secret clearance)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KamisPro is seeking two Data Engineers/Senior ETL Developers with strong Unix/Linux experience and Bash/Python scripting skills to build and support secure, high-performing enterprise data pipelines. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex ETL solutions, as well as collaborating with architects and analysts on enterprise data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL solutions supporting enterprise data integration and reporting
• Build, automate, and optimize data pipelines using Python, Bash, and Unix/Linux
• Extract, transform, validate, and load data from multiple sources and formats
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and data quality
• Support secure production environments while adhering to data governance and security standards
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and administrators on enterprise data initiatives

Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing and supporting ETL or data integration solutions
• Strong expertise in Unix/Linux environments
• Advanced scripting experience with Python and Bash
• Experience with complex data transformation pipelines and performance optimization
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with large-scale data platforms (MPP, Spark, or similar)
• DoD 8570-compliant certification (Security+ or equivalent)
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• CISSP or equivalent certification
• Prior Department of War experience
