Lead HR Generalist - Remote

Our client, a fast-paced technology startup with a global reach, is seeking an experienced and proactive Lead HR Generalist to join their fully remote team. This role is pivotal in shaping and scaling the company's human resources functions, providing comprehensive support to employees and management across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in all areas of HR, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, HRIS management, and compliance. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive company culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring the efficient execution of HR operations in a distributed workforce environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily HR operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, offering, and onboarding to attract top talent. Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and employee satisfaction. Manage and optimize the HR Information System (HRIS) for accurate employee data management and reporting. Drive employee engagement initiatives, performance management processes, and talent development programs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and international employment laws and regulations. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters. Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives. Onboard new employees effectively, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong background as an HR Generalist. Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law across multiple jurisdictions. Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR analytics. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment is highly desirable. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is strongly preferred.
