[Remote] Account Manager

They are seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to be a key part of their sales team, responsible for selling chromatographic products and developing long-term relationships with customers in Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling Agilent products to end-user customers
- Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales activities
- Responsible for generating existing and/or new sales for assigned named accounts or assigned geographic, territory, industry or accounts list, or for identifying and recruiting strategic partners to embed and/or resell company products
- Promotes and sells products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductions
- Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans
- Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction
- Maintains positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers
- May drive customer utilization of Agilent’s online sales
Skills
- Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar scientific discipline
- 1-2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industry
- Experience with chromatographic separations (Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectroscopy) and fundamentals and principles is highly desired
- Deep technical understanding of Agilent's portfolio of chromatographic solutions and associated applications is highly desirable
- Strong computer skills and excellent technical written and oral presentation skills are essential
- Must be a good team player, able to work collaboratively on projects and sales opportunities
