Design Consultant

3 Day Blinds is a national retailer and manufacturer of quality, custom-made blinds, shades, draperies, and shutters. They are seeking a Design Consultant who will meet clients in their homes, help design custom window treatments, and guide clients through the buying process. This role offers company-provided appointments, extensive training, and uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients in their homes to understand their needs and recommend the right custom window treatments for every space
• Create simple, beautiful design solutions tailored to each client's style and budget
• Guide clients through the buying process and confidently close sales in the home
• Manage your own schedule, appointments, and follow-ups
• Build additional business through referrals and local networking
• Deliver an exceptional experience from first visit to final installation

Skills

• A natural people person who enjoys building relationships and helping others make decisions they feel great about
• Motivated by performance and excited by uncapped earning potential
• Confident, coachable, and comfortable working independently in the field
• Organized and able to manage multiple appointments across the week
• Flexible to work at least one weekend day
• Reliable transportation and comfortable traveling locally — your territory is your office
• Backgrounds that do well here include sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, and other fast-paced client-facing roles
• No prior design experience required — we'll train you
