Hampshire County Council provides high quality public services and is seeking a Service Desk IT Technician Level 1 to join their frontline support team. The role involves providing initial IT support to users, working with new systems like a chatbot, and developing skills across various IT support areas.
Responsibilities
- Provides the initial support to our userbase for their IT problems
- Liaising with users via webchat, online form and telephone with a strong customer service focus
- Work on other workstreams such as Chatbots, Knowledge creation and Microsoft Power apps
Skills
- Basic knowledge of IT
- Experience using Microsoft Windows and Office applications
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a varied range of tasks
- Willingness to learn and build proficiency across a variety of new and evolving systems/platforms
