Fitch Group, Inc. is a global leader in financial information services, and they are seeking a Market Research Associate to support the origination of new insurance rating mandates. This role involves researching business opportunities, managing client relationships, and developing marketing materials.

Responsibilities

• Research and validate new business opportunities, combining actionable market data from multiple sources and data sets
• Maintain and update data in Salesforce CRM system
• Prepare commercial agreements for new and existing issuers
• Contact external stakeholders, organize meetings and prepare appropriate background information as required
• Develop impactful presentations and other marketing materials collaborating with the marketing team

Skills

• Relevant university degree, preferably in a business, finance, economics, data analytics related field
• Excellent Excel/ data analytic skills (lookups/ index/ pivot tables/ macros/ formula/ shortcuts etc.)
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Aptitude to learn new data systems and incorporate into research
• Attention to detail
• Integrity, curiosity, willingness to learn and a positive attitude
• Self-starter with strong time management and first-class organizational and delivery skills
• Ability to multi-task, adopt and respond to changing priorities
• Great interpersonal / communication skills
• Prior knowledge of CRM systems
• Debt Capital Markets experience/financial markets knowledge advantageous
