Entry Level Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer

They are seeking a passionate Instrumentation & Control Systems Design Engineer to work on innovative solutions for municipal clients' water challenges, contributing to design, development, and coordination of control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design control panel layouts, BOM’s, Nameplate Schedules, AC and/or DC wireway layouts
• Development of I/O wiring diagrams, AC and/or DC power distribution diagrams, I/O Lists
• Instrumentation specifications and selection of instruments using an Instrument Index and/or instrument data sheets
• Copper and fiber optic networks for the control system or SCADA
• Develop Bill of Materials and Estimates for Design projects
• Prepare drawings detailing the system designed utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT
• Develop Conceptual design reports and Concept of Operation Documents
• Prepare Engineering Specifications
• Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects
• Engaging with instrumentation vendors and manufactures to understand product capabilities
• Program PLC and SCADA Systems

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit software
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and SCADA systems
• Engineer in Training (EIT) with plans of taking the Control Systems PE exam once requirements are met
• Experience with Control Panels or Control Systems
