Entry Level Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer

They are seeking a passionate Instrumentation & Control Systems Design Engineer to work on innovative solutions for municipal clients' water challenges, contributing to design, development, and coordination of control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design control panel layouts, BOM’s, Nameplate Schedules, AC and/or DC wireway layouts
- Development of I/O wiring diagrams, AC and/or DC power distribution diagrams, I/O Lists
- Instrumentation specifications and selection of instruments using an Instrument Index and/or instrument data sheets
- Copper and fiber optic networks for the control system or SCADA
- Develop Bill of Materials and Estimates for Design projects
- Prepare drawings detailing the system designed utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT
- Develop Conceptual design reports and Concept of Operation Documents
- Prepare Engineering Specifications
- Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects
- Engaging with instrumentation vendors and manufactures to understand product capabilities
- Program PLC and SCADA Systems
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit software
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and SCADA systems
- Engineer in Training (EIT) with plans of taking the Control Systems PE exam once requirements are met
- Experience with Control Panels or Control Systems
