Why This Role Matters

As a Remote Clinical Data Entry & Virtual Assistant, you will be the backbone of our telehealth operations, ensuring that every patient interaction is accurately documented, securely processed, and seamlessly integrated into our electronic health record (EHR) system. Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Clinical Documentation: Accurately enter patient histories, physical exam findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow‑up instructions into the EHR.
  • Virtual Patient Interaction: Conduct telephonic or video‑based health assessments, provide health education, and guide patients through preventive screenings and chronic disease management.
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage virtual clinic opening and closing procedures, maintain inventory of digital resources, and ensure compliance with infection‑control protocols in a remote setting.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Book, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments, coordinate referrals, and liaise with on‑site clinicians to guarantee continuity of care.
  • Health Promotion: Advise patients on lifestyle modifications, preventive health measures, and vaccination schedules, including COVID‑19, flu, TB, and other immunizations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of relevant clinical or health‑administrative experience, preferably in a fast‑paced retail or telehealth environment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
  • Successful completion of a Specimen Collection Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, scheduling platforms, and telehealth software.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean virtual workspace, including passing a fit test and wearing a respirator mask when required for on‑site simulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Less than one year of experience as a licensed provider, with prior preceptorship or mentorship exposure at arenaflex.
