Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Architecture: Define and enforce modern software engineering practices, including modular design, testability, observability, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Data Platform Engineering: Own the architecture of data pipelines, lakehouse structures, and analytics services using Azure ADLS, Azure Synapse, Azure Event Hub, Databricks, Delta Lake, and related technologies.
  • Quality & Governance: Establish data quality standards, validation processes, and governance frameworks to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Analytics & Visualization: Drive the creation of advanced analytics models, machine‑learning pipelines, and interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) that translate raw data into actionable insights.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with product owners, business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Innovation & Trend‑Scanning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., lakehouse patterns, real‑time streaming, AI/ML frameworks) and assess their relevance to arenaflex’s strategic roadmap.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine‑tune data pipelines and analytics workloads to meet stringent SLAs for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear technical documentation, design diagrams, and run‑books; lead lunch‑and‑learn sessions and technical forums across the organization.
  • Project Delivery: Manage end‑to‑end delivery of data initiatives, from requirement gathering and design through implementation, testing, and production rollout.

Essential Qualifications
