Key Responsibilities
- * Accurately transcribe audio and video recordings into text while maintaining high spelling, grammar, and punctuation standards.
- * Identify speaker changes, timestamps, and background noise indicators where necessary.
- * Adhere to client-specific guidelines, including formatting, verbatim transcription, and time-coding.
- * Work with various industries such as business, legal, medical, academic, and media transcription.
- * Conduct basic research to ensure correct spelling of names, terminology, and technical jargon.
- * Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality and error-free transcripts.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- * Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with excellent grammar and punctuation.
- * Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- * Strong listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to handle different accents and audio quality levels.
- * Experience with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai, Descript, Rev, or similar tools).
