Supply Planning Transformation Deployment Lead

Job Summary: The company is seeking an experienced Supply Planning Transformation Deployment Lead to drive the successful implementation of a large-scale supply planning transformation program across multiple manufacturing sites. This leadership role will oversee deployment activities, guide site adoption of a new operating model, and manage a team responsible for delivering sustainable planning process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing scheduling expertise, direct people leadership experience, and deep knowledge of enterprise planning systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for deploying supply planning transformation initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations
  • Drive adoption of new planning processes, operating models, and ways of working across assigned sites
  • Oversee deployment schedules, site readiness assessments, implementation milestones, and overall program execution
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for deployment risks, issues, and operational challenges
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and site leadership teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation
  • Monitor program performance, track progress against objectives, and communicate updates to senior stakeholders
  • Promote standardization and best practices across all deployment sites to ensure consistent execution
  • Support change management activities that enable sustainable behavioral and process transformation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine planning playbooks, deployment frameworks, and operational procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to supply planning, scheduling, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Experience leading manufacturing scheduling or production planning operations within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated direct people leadership experience managing teams and driving performance
  • Strong experience leading transformation, change management, or operating model deployment initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, INFOR Scheduling, JDA, Blue Yonder, or similar planning and scheduling platforms
  • Strong understanding of Supply Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deployment activities across geographically dispersed locations
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15%–35% based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience supporting supply chain transformation programs in global manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience implementing planning technology platforms and process optimization initiatives
  • Change Management certification or related credentials
