Overview: The Strategic Chapter Manager will join a team of 80+ purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the largest accredited leadership honor society in the United States, with over 800 chapters and more than 2 million members. The Strategic Chapter Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for our large institutional clients. This role ensures excellent operations and focuses on achieving metrics related to gross profit retention and growth. Collaborating exclusively with key chapters and NSLS stakeholders, the Strategic Chapter Manager accommodates, anticipates, and advocates for the specialized needs of these key accounts. The Strategic Chapter Manager reports to the Director of Strategic Chapter Management, collaborating closely on strategic needs and plans. This position works directly with a diverse group of NSLS Chapter Advisors leading chapters at their schools, managing and advising these leaders towards desired chapter outcomes. This role creates a ripple effect with the potential to positively impact the lives of thousands of college students through the successful execution of our life-changing and accredited leadership development program. Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the direct relationship with 25+ key accounts by building and maintaining strong relationships with key chapter-level stakeholders. Tasks that enable relationship building include: develop a deep understanding of each university’s goals and vision conducting routine meetings with chapter leaders to mentor, guide and assist them (and in some cases, run) NSLS programming resolve chapter issues and concerns through high-touch support conduct programmatic training assess chapter and institutional needs and identify strategies to address those needs Serves as a centralized SME for strategic accounts, identifies and develops recommendations for improved strategic account outcomes and goal achievement annually, in advance of the academic year Achieve set revenue goals and metrics as established by the company for each key account Identify opportunities for growth and provide recommendations for new initiatives and projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define approaches and goals to grow strategic accounts and to ensure the successful execution of those goals Provide regular updates to senior leadership on account performance and progress towards strategic goals Ensure that all work is delivered on time, within budget, and meets or exceeds client expectations Manage research and analysis to understand the client’s business, market trends, and competitive landscape Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on industry trends and best practices Travel as needed to manage assigned portfolio Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred 5+ years account management/sales experience preferred Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans for accounts exceeding 3MM preferred Proficiency in CRM software Reside in the continental United States The National Society of Leadership and Success is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion Visit nsls.org to learn more about our organization Apply To This Job
