Associate Investigator, Trust and Safety

Description

Manage high volumes of inquiries in Intercom and communicate clearly and professionally with users.
Review sign-up, login, and transaction fraud triggers and block fraudulent platform behavior.
Conduct investigations to detect suspicious activity, including identity and payment verification sessions.
Review user content for compliance with community guidelines and Terms of Service.
Process and manage global data deletion requests.
Research and document complex chargeback disputes.
Look for opportunities to improve internal processes and workflows.
Help maintain marketplace integrity and trust across the platform.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or Customer Support.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate evolving fraud trends.
High emotional resilience and adaptability in a fast-changing operational environment.
Exceptional written communication skills with a focus on objectivity and clarity.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Passion for helping make the internet a safer, more trustworthy place.
Energized by investigating issues and working collaboratively with others.
Have a sense of humor and enjoy working with others.
Proficiency with Google Sheets is a plus.
Experience with Stripe and Intercom, or similar CRM and payment platforms, is a plus.
Prior experience with Forter, Sift, or other automated fraud detection tools is a plus.
Experience handling marketplace-specific disputes is a plus.
