We are looking for an Analyst in our National Data Unit to support continued growth in our Employee Benefits practice. The Analyst will provide support to teams internal to HUB, as well as to our clients. If you are a self-starter with a mathematically oriented mind, this opportunity could be the right fit for you. In this role you will: Format and input data and information into a variety of client facing tools Work with service teams to understand client needs and desired outputs within the realm of supported applications Quickly aggregate data to perform complex analyses Support for internal teams and the broader Employee Benefits practice Document appropriate data elements used for insurance carrier negotiations, and for the validation of renewals/proposals Deliver findings to internal teams and clients Contribute to enhancement of client service, and maintain a familiarity with industry trends Troubleshooting, investigating and correcting report outputs as required Learn, analyze, and report on several types of group benefits in addition to health Support other initiatives of analytics & innovation as needed What you offer us: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Mathematics, Finance, Mathematics, and/or prior industry-specific experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with an intermediate-level comfort in Excel Visual Basic experience a plus Strong math, analytical, logic, and communication skills (both verbal and written) Demonstrates multi-tasking ability, troubleshooting prowess, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and extremely well-organized, with an ability to balance a high-volume workload with competing deadlines Data entry experience in a support role or equivalent Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team structure What we offer you: Medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401k, Health Savings Account funding, and voluntary insurance options Generous time-off policies and Work/life balance, because that’s important for all of us Remote capabilities Learn from the expertise of your coworkers Be part of a motivated team and entrepreneurial culture Growth: HUB is growing, and so can your career WHY CHOOSE HUB? The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000k depending on geographical location and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
