[Remote] Marketing Development Representative

As an Inbound Market Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, converting inbound interest into qualified opportunities for the sales team and supporting field marketing efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to and qualify inbound leads from marketing channels (web, events, campaigns)
  • Engage prospects via email, phone, and social channels to understand their business challenges and goals
  • Conduct discovery conversations to assess fit, urgency, and buying intent
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance
  • Continuously refine messaging and outreach based on prospect insights
  • Meet and exceed monthly targets for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in an SDR, MDR, or customer-facing role (SaaS experience preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful, probing questions
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple inbound conversations simultaneously
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms is a plus
  • Interest in AI, customer experience, or enterprise technology
