Associate Attorney

Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation for clients before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
- Conduct USCIS interviews and manage removal defense for detained and non-detained clients
- Develop strategies for asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, and other immigration relief
- Review and sign legal documents
- Research on immigration issues
- Communicate with clients with professionalism and empathy
- Present arguments in court
Skills
- Strong academic record
- Experience in Immigration Law and Legal Document Preparation for Immigration Court
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Proficiency with Westlaw or Lexis
- Familiarity with Bluebook citation format
- Ability to analyze complex statutory and regulatory frameworks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Prior immigration law experience
- Fluency in Spanish is required
- Law review or journal experience
- Federal court research experience
