Engineering Technical Specialist (Associate or Experienced)

They are seeking an Engineering Technical Specialist to join their Boeing Test & Evaluation team in Berkeley, MO, where the role involves developing solutions, managing data, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.


Responsibilities

  • Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs
  • Performs data mining and evaluation to various criteria and provides summary of results for the end users
  • Standardize data mining for commonly used data using queries and providing results to end users
  • Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards
  • Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs
  • Ensures regulatory requirements are met
  • Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability
  • Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
  • Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity
  • Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs
  • Works under general direction

Skills

  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, then summarizing findings; developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel to process tabular data
  • Ability to document training instructions and user guides
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Common Metrology Information System (CMIS), or Strategic Inventory Management Online (SIMON)
  • Familiarity with data architecture, and data warehouse concepts
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and delivering projects on schedule
  • Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
