We have everything you need for a dynamic career! We're seeking an experienced Tax Manager with a strong background in the Construction Industry to join our growing Tax practice. This is 100% remote based in the U.S. if not living near the NJ/NYC offices. Summary: This individual will manage client relationships, lead complex engagements, and serve as a technical resource for construction‑focused tax matters. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities: Manage client engagements — Oversee tax compliance and consulting projects for construction clients, including contractors, developers, and specialty trade firms. Review complex tax returns — Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings, including partnerships, S‑corps, and multi‑state entities. Provide industry‑specific tax guidance — Advise clients on construction‑related tax matters such as percentage‑of‑completion, job costing, revenue recognition, and state nexus. Lead and mentor staff — Supervise seniors and associates, provide coaching, and support professional development. Support business development — Participate in proposals, client presentations, and relationship‑building initiatives. Ensure compliance and quality — Maintain high standards of technical accuracy, documentation, and adherence to firm policies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or EA license is preferred 6+ years of public accounting experience, with significant exposure to construction clients Strong understanding of construction‑specific tax issues.
