Role Overview Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact. Sodexo Government is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support a nationwide govenrment Department of Defense business account in a union and non union environment. Main responsibilities will be to support the employee life cycle, including training, employee relations, recruiting support, and educating managers on policies and procedures. This is a remote based position, but the ideal candidate will reside near a major airport on the east coast. The selected candidate must be able to travel to fit the needs of the business. Must be able to travel 35% What You'll Do onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems; possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws; maintain active and terminated employee files; coordinate and conduct required monthly training; possess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responses; possess strong time management and organizational skills; understand and respect sensitive and confidential information; have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed; complete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis; demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands..
