Position Summary As a Technical Sales & Project Manager for Muth Mirror Systems Germany GmbH, the qualified candidate will play a key role in driving profitable growth across the European market. This individual will be responsible for expanding business with existing customers, strategically developing new OEM accounts, and ensuring the successful execution of technical projects from concept through delivery with the support of Muth’s Senior Management as well as all functioning departments at headquarters in the USA. (Sheboygan, WI). Working closely with colleagues in Europe, the United States, and China, as well as with internal production teams and external technology partners, this role requires a commercially minded technical professional who can combine sales strategy, project leadership, customer relationship management, and hands-on execution. This position offers broad career development potential, including the opportunity to assume increasing pan-European responsibility as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth with existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities across Europe.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with OEM customers and strategic partners.
  • Lead technical sales initiatives from early customer engagement through project award and implementation.
  • Oversee project execution with a strong focus on quality, timing, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal production sites, technology partners, and cross-functional teams in Europe, the U.S., and China.
  • Improve sales processes, project organization, and internal coordination to support scalable growth.
  • Develop customer-specific concepts, solutions, and proposals in collaboration with technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Monitor project profitability and proactively address risks, delays, or cost challenges.
  • Inspire, coordinate, and guide project team members to achieve shared objectives.
  • Represent the company professionally in negotiations, customer meetings, and strategic discussions.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and execution-oriented professional with strong technical understanding and proven commercial capability. They are comfortable operating in an international environment and can confidently manage both customer relationships and complex technical projects. The successful candidate may come from an engineering, business, or commercial background, provided they bring the right combination of technical knowledge, sales experience, and leadership potential. Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Candidates with commercial education and strong technical expertise will also be considered.
  • Extensive relevant professional experience may substitute for a formal degree.
  • Proven track record of professional success in technical sales, project management, or a related commercial-technical role.
  • Experience in OEM sales is strongly preferred.
  • Background in LED lighting, automotive, industrial technology, electronics, or related technical markets is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience working in or with larger organizations, while thriving in a mid-sized, hands-on company culture.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and customer relationships across international teams.
  • Fluent English required.
  • German language skills required.
