Responsibilities
As a Billing & Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Entering bills of lading into arenaflex's internal inquiry system with speed and accuracy
- Learning and retaining industry terms related to billing, including National Motor Freight Classification
- Communicating any paperwork issues to the Service Centers in a timely and effective manner
- Performing all necessary audits as assigned to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Entering proper Hazardous Materials bills as assigned, adhering to industry regulations and guidelines
- Assisting Service Centers with any questions related to billing, providing expert guidance and support
- Identifying and communicating all issues relevant to billing, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing errors
- Reviewing weekly Error Report for feedback and accuracy of corrections, implementing improvements as needed
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Exceptional data entry skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work late afternoons and evenings, including second shift hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and Service Centers
- Basic knowledge of industry terms and regulations, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new information
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
