Trust and safety/Risk Specialist

Responsibilities: Experience minimum (client requirement): 4+ years. Preferred experience: trust and safety for online platforms / marketplaces / social media; experience in trust and safety risk assessments, transparency reports, regulatory responses, audits, and/or control design; knowledgeable in global content regulations, content moderation practices

  • Strategy and Operationalize: comprehensive integrity risk management framework, aligned to industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Risk Assessments: lead event-driven risk assessments in response to significant changes, material risks, and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaboration: comfortable in driving cross-functionality discussions, navigating challenging conversations with leadership teams, and driving risk-based decision making
  • Risk Management: demonstrable experience in risk management, implementing key performance indicators to measure effectiveness of risk management efforts
  • Program Management: management multiple workstreams, including planning, coordination, status tracking, reporting (including board-level / executive reporting), and stakeholder updates; Development supporting documentation such as playbooks and standard operating procedures to enable program scalability and understanding
  • Optimizing: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, eliminating redundancies, and improving efficiencies; particularly automation and AI-enabled solutions
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firms respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in using risk management software and tools.
