Job Title: Business Support Consultant Location: Providence, RI – Fully Remote (EST hours) Travel: Up to 10% (occasional in-person sessions at Johnston office every couple of months) Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension and conversion to Full-Time) Pay Rate: $32/hr (W2)

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Consultant to join the Assisted Services/Digital Banking team. This role is primarily focused on supporting and enhancing the chat program and bot platform, while contributing to broader digital initiatives. The consultant will collaborate with developers, business partners, and contact center teams to ensure smooth execution of the program migration and ongoing optimization. This position is fully remote (EST hours) with occasional on-site collaboration in Johnston, RI. Primary Role Focus

  • Assist in managing the chat program and bot platform.
  • Translate business needs into actionable steps for developers to move projects forward.
  • Support the migration of bots from Sprinklr to AWS, followed by enhancement and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and discovery sessions with business partners.
  • Support Agile pod operations; manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, Scrum ceremonies, and Jira story tracking.
  • Troubleshoot issues and prepare materials for meetings.
  • Track intakes, business requests, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
  • Maintain project documentation and generate clear project status reports.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the contact center team to ensure alignment and smooth adoption.

  • Strong people skills and professionalism; able to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Confident communicator who can influence, engage, and present effectively.
  • Comfortable asking questions, showing initiative, and driving discussions forward.

Technical & Methodology Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (Jira, Confluence) strongly preferred.
  • Project management or business analysis experience is helpful.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

  • Fully remote (EST working hours required).
  • Occasional in-person sessions in Johnston, RI (about once every couple of months).
  • One-round interview process.
  • Opportunity to convert to a full-time role.
