Job Title: Medical Coder Location: Singapore Salary: SGD 2,800 3,200 per month (Based on experience) Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join a healthcare organization in Singapore. The role involves reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures to ensure accurate billing and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate medical codes using ICD/CPT classification systems
- Review patient records for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with healthcare coding guidelines and regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for clarification of diagnoses/procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Support billing and insurance claim processes
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Coding, Health Information Management, or related field
- Minimum 13 years of experience in medical coding
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, or equivalent coding systems
- Good analytical and attention-to-detail skills
- Basic computer proficiency
Preferred Skills:
- Certification such as CPC / CCS (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in hospital or healthcare setup
- Familiarity with international healthcare standards
