We are currently seeking a Project Manager, Civil Engineer to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This position offers meaningful responsibility—not just oversight—and is best suited for someone who takes initiative and seeks ownership in leading hydrology and hydraulics studies and associated design efforts. Duties/Responsibilities In this position, you will:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of project teams, with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
  • Ensure projects are executed to meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
  • Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, staffing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
  • Demonstrate technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with internal project teams and field personnel, providing technical oversight, and reinforcing health and safety processes and procedures.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor, coach, and support staff to promote knowledge transfer and ensure high-quality technical work and deliverables.
  • Plan and execute work in accordance with company and client health and safety requirements.
  • Lead or support technical evaluations, design efforts, permitting, contract document development, and construction procurement support for civil and environmental projects.
  • Plan and execute work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols, demonstrating the company’s foundational safety behaviors.
  • Develop technical scopes of work and cost estimates for small- to medium-sized hydrology and hydraulic proposals.
  • Manage hydrologic & hydraulics modeling, analysis, and design deliverables.
  • Perform hydrologic & hydraulic analyses and prepare design calculations and drawings using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Assign and manage technical tasks with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, and schedule and budget adherence.

Skills/Experience Minimum Skills and Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in at least one state is required; registration in multiple states or the ability to obtain within a short time frame strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams to deliver projects that meet client objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills, including the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project.
  • Civil and/or environmental engineering experience that spans the entire project lifecycle.
