Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Part Time Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance, submitting tickets into our ticketing system, and providing exceptional customer service through timely and accurate communication. Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance through various channels (phone, email, chat, etc.)
  • Submitting tickets into our ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review
  • Reviewing each open ticket to determine the outcome and ensuring timely closure
  • Emailing responses to customers to provide updates and ensure exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket status
  • Collaborating with Help Desk technicians to resolve complex issues and provide support

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer (not required but highly preferred)
  • Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with ticketing systems (training provided)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience with ticketing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of technical support principles and procedures

  • Certification in customer service or technical support (e.g., CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation)
