Remote Consultant (CA Licensed Attorney)
Our company is an unclaimed property recovery firm. We help individuals recover funds held by state agencies. We are looking for a licensed attorney for occasional, as-needed consulting on general compliance and structural questions related to our business. Scope of Work (Advisory Only): Provide high-level input on internal processes from a compliance perspective Review templates or documents for general structure and clarity (non-client-specific) Offer general guidance on applicable statutes related to unclaimed property All work is non-representational: No interaction with our clients No attorney-client relationship with third parties No ongoing obligations, engagements are brief and as-needed If this is a good fit after an initial session, we would like to include a brief, accurate mention of your role as our ongoing independent advisor on our website (name, title, and short description), subject to your approval.
